This is pretty fantastic.
‘Fuck off Harrods’ done by a disgruntled employee, fired by Harrods from his job as the toy department’s Father Christmas, took revenge last night in spectacular style.
Gaining access to a maintenance control room, Lloyd Hudson, 35, from Ilford, Essex, was able to locate the chart and corresponding switches for Harrods’ 10,000 external lights.
Barracading himself in, Hudson disabled the correct lights until he could spell out his feelings to Harrods bosses and Christmas shoppers alike. He was removed by security guards after an hour-long stand-off, then handed over to police.
“He had drunk the best part of two bottles of whisky,” said a spokesperson for the iconic London store, “and it’s that kind of behaviour that got him the sack in the first place.” Hudson has since been released on police bail.
Knightsbridge visitors were stunned.
“Honestly, I am disgusted, ” said Irene Rider, 59, from Gary, Indiana. “I was with my grandchildren. We had just gotten off the bus. I said ‘look everybody’ and pointed up to the lights – but you know what the lights said? They said f**k off. And that is not an appropriate message for a child. At least not at Christmas time.”
this is awesome. :)
WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

side note: When was the last time you saw ONE guy standing with his hands on his hips in frustration/befuddlement. Never? OK. So, now ask yourself when the last time you saw THREE guys standing with their hands on their hips in frustration/befuddlement. Never? OK. So now ask yourself when the last time you saw three professional basketball players that spent the summer talking about how awesome they were, and having welcoming parades, and hour-long TV specials for no reason, and yammering on about how they were going to win multiple championships.
This is happening now.
And it is awesome.
Three ridiculous in-game dunks and a 44/15/7 line from the rookie last night. And the Clippers still found a way to lose.

This is arguably one of the most famous goals in FC United’s short but impressive history. The rebel group, formed by former Manchested United supporters back in 2005, knocked off Rochdale, a professional club four divisions higher in the English football heirachy one week ago. A truly amazing…
Holy shit its here. My favorite beer is out and i got my first six pack of it tonight to watch some pre-season action. I will be drinking this beer exclusively until it goes away until next year. Happy days are here!
Awesome Rant
There I stood, with my cart in the toiletries aisle, perusing the body washes and shampoos (all of which were eco-friendly, mind you, before you get your overgrown pubic hair in a tangle over the ethics of my shopping) when you walked directly AT me. It was almost as if you were going to walk…
Aquapark in Moscow, Russia.
(photo found on flickr)This waterpark was never completed. During construction a fatal accident in 2004 at another Russian waterpark - called Transvaal - caused over 20 people to die. Because of the accident safety regulations for amusement parks became much more stricter and the owner of this park didn’t have enough money to apply these new rules and construction was ceased.
The park would have been a massive 12-story structure with multiple swimming pools, water slides and even hotel and cafes. The park is now overgrown with vegetation and has been the victim of graffiti. In 2007 someone bought the site with the idea of constructing a shopping center, but the park has yet to be demolished.
So right now I am saving for my Europe trip coming up in a few weeks. I just graduated and am just taking some time off to enjoy myself. But whats next?
I never really had a dream i was striving for and im not crazy about making a ton of money. I just want to find a job that i can enjoy and make a decent wage at. I wish i was more ambitious to make a ton of money, but i really don’t see the need to have a lot.
I was thinking maybe trying to get in a local history museum. Volunteer first so i can get my foot in the door. Meet some people then maybe establish a job there. After some time i could eventually pursue grad school. But thats just an idea. I need to find something i love to do!
Do I have a passion? I don’t know. At one time in my life it was acting…then it was music…then it was history…now i’ed say its football and running. Two things that are not going to give me work.
I don’t even have motivation to read anymore. Maybe I am just cooked from the past five years of school. Hopefully something will click when I am in Europe. Find my passion for history again and really discover what i want to do with it. Because right now I have no idea.
